Hailing from New Jersey, baritone Evan Fleming is elated to join Cedar Rapids Opera as a Young Artist. Mr. Fleming holds degrees from Montclair State University (BMus, 2019) and The University of Alabama (MM, 2021). In the 23-24 season, Evan was a Resident Artist with Toledo Opera and a Summer Studio Artist with Florentine Opera. While in Toledo, he appeared as Harry Houdini in Ragtime and Gregorio in Romeó et Juliette. Past roles include Barone Douphol (La traviata, Quisisana Resort 2023), Bobby (Company, Opera Steamboat 2022), and Papageno (Die Zauberflöte, UA 2021).
