Alex Gushrowski

Alex Gushrowski has recently graduated with his Masters in Music Performance at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music in 2024. He has also received his Bachelors in Music degree at Ball State University in the spring of 2022. His most recent performance was as a chorister in the 2024 season at Cincinnati Opera (Don Giovanni, La Traviata, Liverpool Oratorio). Other performances include Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music’s staged production of Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmelites as L’Aumonier, and involvement with Cincinnati Opera Fusion: New Works workshop of composer Missy Mazzoli’s Lincoln in the Bardo based on the novel written by George Saunders. Other notable roles include Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Younger Jim Thompson (Glory Denied) as well as Albert Herring (Albert Herring) with Ball State University Opera Theater. He has also performed as a soloist in Johann Sebastian Bach’s St Matthew’s Passion and Magnificat with the University of Cincinnati Chamber Choir/Philharmonia.
