Gwenyth Sell

Gwenyth Sell is thrilled to be returning to Cedar Rapids after being a Young Artist in their production of Tosca in January. She graduated with her Performer Diploma and Master of Music from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music, where she studied under Jane Dutton and was awarded a Performer’s Certificate. At Jacobs, Gwenyth performed the roles of Arminda (La Finta Giardiniera), Lauretta and Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Le Prince (Cendrillon by Viardot), and Georgette (La Rondine). Other recent roles include, Nannetta (Falstaff), and Laetita (The Old Maid and the Thief). Gwenyth will be the soprano Resident Artist with Shreveport Opera for 2024-2025.
