Lauren Leman

Lauren Leman, an Iowa native mezzo-soprano, received her undergraduate degree and Master of Music degree from the University of Northern Iowa in 2020 and 2023 respectively. She most recently sang the title role in La Cenerentola as a Young Artist in the 2024 Bay View Music Festival, where she also sang the year prior (Gianni Schicchi/Suor Angelica). Lauren has worked with Cedar Rapids Opera in many capacities. First, as a Young Artist (2022 - The Pirates of Penzance), then, as a Production Manager (2024 - Tosca), and as a performer in the Cabaret Sing-Along.
