Sean Whitson

Sean Whitson, Iowa native and a junior at the LSU School of Music, is absolutely thrilled to be making his Cedar Rapids Opera debut as a Young Artist! During his time at LSU, Sean has performed as Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte, The Defendant in Trial by Jury, Henrik in A Little Night Music, Le Doyen in Cendrillon, Pong from Turandot, and appearances in the collegiate premiers of Orphée and Orson Rehearsed. Upcoming performances include Enoch Jr./ Chorus in Carousel, Warren in Ordinary Days, and studying Conte Almaviva in Il Barbiere di Sivilla. Sean is currently studying with Dr. Brandon Hendrickson.
